LEND-A-HAND INDIA (LAHI) Lend-A-Hand India (www.lend-a-hand-india.org), a start-up non profit founded by young professionals in New York provides vocational training, career counseling and enterprise financing to young entrepreneurs in rural India to address the challenges of rural youth unemployment and urban migration. Lend-A-Hand India aspires to bridge the urban-rural divide by scaling up social innovations. The Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans (CAPA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Pan-Asian organization working together to build a sense of community. For over 29 years, we have been organizing and fundraising for the Asian Pacific American Heritage Festival. Usually held on the first Sunday in May, CAPA's free outdoor event includes live music and dance performances, children's program, crafts, martial arts, information and food booths from over 100 different organizations.
