Several members from NAAAP NY chapter attended the NAAAP Leadership Institute in sunny San Diego, CA, 25-27 Feb.   This was a great opportunity to learn best practices and develop leadership skills.   Several guest speakers participated.   The highlight a tour of the USS WAYNE E MEYER (DDG 108) one of the Navy's (a sponsor of the event) newest destroyer.   This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for attendees to visit a Navy ship and speak with the Executive Officer (Filipino-American) who will soon be the Commanding Officer.
