The National Association of Asian American Professionals is announcing the opening of the nominations for the 2009 NAAAP 100 Program.

For more than a century, Asians have overcome obstacles to make significant contributions in both America and Canada. Their contributions have added tremendously to the success and prosperity of North America. NAAAP is a leadership development organization that provides a broad range of professional and educational services. It is only fitting then, that NAAAP recognizes leaders who exemplify our vision and mission. NAAAP is paying tribute to these leaders by creating a NAAAP 100 Recognition Program. This year we will select a handful of individuals to join the NAAAP 100 Club. We will feature them in our magazine "Asian Leaders".

We are currently accepting nominations for leaders who meet the following criteria:

  • Applicant must be notable in the press and achieved success in his or her profession
  • Applicant must have made a significant contribution to the world-wide community
  • Applicant must be a leader whose achievements have impacted many people
  • Applicant must align with the vision and mission of NAAAP as well as be a US or Canadian resident

Winners will be honored at the the NAAAP 100 page to download the nomination form. Nominations are due by May 31, 2009.
