In its 16th year, NAAAP-NY will award three outstanding high school seniors the NAAAP High School Scholarship award for distinguished performance in the academic, athletic, and community fields. Each winner will receive an one-time $2,500 scholarship for their college expenses. In addition, a permanent US resident (non US-citizen) student will receive the Chan Lin Achievement Award. This special scholarship for $2,500 will be awarded to a graduating high school senior who has immigrated to the United States within the past five years (No earlier than January 1, 2001). In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a current senior in a high school in the New York Metropolitan area, a permanent US-resident who immigrated to the US within the past five years, and will graduate in Spring 2006. It is highly recommended that students complete the application on a word processing software first and then Copy and Paste the information on this application. Late or incomplete Online applications and multiple applications will not be considered.

All three parts of this application must be completed and submitted together before January 31, 2006.
